MasterTop 1231 is a multi-component, self- smoothing, solvent free, decorative epoxy overlay system designed to provide continuous protection for concrete floors at thicknesses of between 2.0-4.0 mm. For greater thicknesses contact BASF Technical department. The cured material produces a dense, colourful, glossy surface. The product has also been successfully applied to glazed and terrazzo tiles, steel and timber. For applications other than to concrete, please contact your BASF representative.

MasterInject 1320

MasterInject 1320 is a single component hydrophilic injection resin which forms an impermeable flexible seal when injected into cracks in concrete.

MasterSeal 901 is based on vinyl ester methacrylate technology.

MasterProtect 1890

MasterProtect 1890 is a multi-component solvent free modified epoxy resin mortar specifically designed to meet the in-service demands of a chemical resistant lining mortar. The selected blend of fillers and resins produce a mortar with exceptional handling properties. The finished cured mortar is highly impervious and combines optimum chemical and mechanical resistance.

MasterKure 106

MasterKure 106 is a solvent free, membrane forming wax emulsion, suitable for spray application to freshly poured concrete. The resultant film retains sufficient moisture in the concrete to ensure full hydration of the cement; essential for optimum strength development. Membrane cured concrete is typically harder and exhibits a dust free surface with a reduced incidence of drying shrinkage cracks. The film can also act as a bond breaker between initial and subsequent concrete pours.

MasterSeal 550

MasterSeal 550 is a two-component acrylic modified cementitious coating that requires only on site mixing to form the ideal product to waterproof and resurface concrete, masonry, and most other construction materials. Simply applied by stiff brush, roller, or trowel, it forms a waterproof, flexible coating. MasterSeal 550 provides an effective barrier to waterborne salts and atmospheric gases. Fluid applied, MasterSeal 550 provides a hard wearing, seamless, waterproof membrane for roofs and foundation protection. MasterSeal 550 is composed of specially selected cements, silica sand and reactive fillers supplied in powder form together with a liquid component of blended acrylic copolymers and wetting agents.

MasterEmaco N 307

MasterEmaco N 307 is a single component acrylic polymer modified repair mortar for use as a "fairing coat" or cosmetic mortar. When mixed with water, as directed, a fine grey trowellable mortar results which can readily be applied to fill in pores, blowholes and blemishes on a concrete surface. MasterEmaco N 307 can be used as a 'skim' coat prior to the application of protective coatings. MasterEmaco N 307 is specially formulated to produce a shrinkage compensating mortar with no cracking when applied in a thin section <5mm.

MasterTop 20

MasterTop 20 is a colourless low viscosity liquid for application to concrete. It hardens and dustproofs the surface.

MasterProtect 190

MasterProtect 190 is a two-component solvent free, liquid epoxy polyurethane resin. The superior adhesion and chemical resistance of the epoxy resin, in combination with the flexibility of polyurethane and water-resistant qualities of epoxy produce a system that will provide a high build, ultra dense coating to protect concrete, other cementitious substrates, and metal, against a wide range of aggressive media present in the sewerage environment. The coating will not support the growth of bacteria. MasterProtect 190 in appearance, is smooth, the unique formulation of the system with the aliphatic polyurethane modification exhibit some degree of the flexibility and better resistance to U.V. MasterProtect 190 is high gloss in finish, heavy bodied, ultra dense surface. Hygienic and easily cleaned. Standard colours are light grey, dark grey, black, white, red, green and blue.

MasterKure 181

MasterKure 181 is a non-degrading, membrane- forming liquid based on acrylic resin suitable for spray application to freshly poured concrete. MasterKure 181 is available as a clear opaque liquid and white solar reflective version. The resultant film retains sufficient moisture in the concrete to ensure full hydration of the cement; essential for optimum strength development. The cured concrete is typically harder and exhibits a dust free surface with a reduced incidence of drying shrinkage cracks. Additionally, the membrane acts as a primer system for many subsequent surface finishes that do not rely on penetration for substrate bond. When applied to floors, the MasterKure 181 seals and dustproofs the surface, eliminating the primary source of abrasion and enhancing durability.

MasterProtect 1810

MasterProtect 1810 is a fast setting, repair compound, ideal for minor concrete repair applications such as pin holes, blow holes & fine surface cracks. MasterProtect 1810 is easily worked and can be applied by trowel, spatula or scraper. It cures to give high chemical & mechanical properties typical of Novolac systems. It is resistant to oils, greases, petroleum, salts, many acids and alkalis and most commonly met corrosive media. It does not shrink on curing, and is designed to be used when cured from below freezing point to 60°C. Its impact resistance, and mechanical strength is greater than that of concrete.

MasterSeal 501

The MasterSeal 501 waterproofing system ensures a total and permanent solution to water leakage, ingress, or seepage in concrete structures or any cementitious substrate. The formation and development of insoluble crystals into water bearing capillaries and interstices effectively blocks the further passage of water. Supplied as a powder and mixed to a slurry consistency with potable water. MasterSeal 501 is applied directly to concrete, blockwork or cement renders in areas where general waterproofing is required. In powder form, the product may be used as a dry shake on horizontal construction joints. MasterSeal 501 consists of a blend of moisture activated chemicals, high grade silica aggregates and selected cements. Premixed powders consisting of selected Portland cement blended with an activating chemical and high-grade quartz.

MasterFlow 980

MasterFlow 980 is a ready to use product in powder form, which requires only the on-site addition of water to produce a shrinkage compensated micro concrete of predictable performance.

MasterProtect 300

MasterProtect 300 is a high performance elastomeric, waterproof coating based on water borne acrylic co-polymers. It is a single component, ready-to-use material which can be applied by brush, roller or airless spray. When cured, it provides an aesthetic, durable, breathable coating which is waterproof, crack bridging and protects the structure from water-borne aggressive agents such as chloride ions which initiate corrosion in the reinforcing steel and CO2 which reduces the protective properties of the concrete.

MasterEmaco S 466PM

MasterEmaco S 466PM is a polymer modified high strength precision concrete, requiring only the on-site addition of water to provide a free flowing concrete ideally suited for placing in nominal thicknesses of 40mm and above. When mixed, applied and cured in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, MasterEmaco S 466PM produces a free flowing precision concrete free from segregation and bleeding. MasterEmaco S 466PM is a pre-packaged blend of Portland cement, carefully graded natural aggregate, specially selected sands, fillers, shrinkage control agents and fluidifiers. When mixed with the stated amount of water it produces a free flowing, cohesive, precision concrete that hardens to produce a dense, durable surface.

MasterSeal 909

MasterSeal 909 is a blue flexible PVC hose which comprises a solid core and lateral openings covered by neoprene strips, all banded by an open webbed nylon mesh.

MasterFinish 202

Chemical release mould and shutter faces prior to casting concrete in order to achieve a clean release. After removal of the formwork, the resultant concrete has a smooth, hard, uniform finish, with reduced incidence of blow holes. MasterFinish 202 can be applied to the formwork by spray in the form of a light uniform mist coating.

MasterEmaco P 102

MasterEmaco P 102 is a two-component solvent free primer based upon epoxy resins for use with appropriate epoxy overlays and coatings. It is used to promote the adhesion of toppings / coatings to existing concrete substrates.

MasterFlow 916 AN

MasterFlow 916 AN is a two-component polyester resin based anchoring grout, for use with threaded rods only in concrete and masonry.

MasterKure 111

MasterKure 111 evaporation retardant helps produce high quality, concrete (slab) and reduces surface moisture evaporation. Because MasterKure 111 retards evaporation, it is especially effective in combating rapid drying conditions (high concrete and / or ambient temperatures, low humidity, high winds, direct sunlight, work in heated interiors during cold weather, etc.).

MasterRoc FLC 100

MasterRoc FLC 100 is a chloride free admixture in powder form. It is added at the rate of 6% by weight of cement to produce a flowable, pumpable, non-shrink non-segregating, impermeable grout, providing high strength and high bond to steel. The most important property MasterRoc FLC 100 imparts to grout is the ability to protect cables against corrosion from aggressive agents and stress.

MasterFiber 012

MasterFiber 012 is a high performance monofilament polypropylene fibre developed as a crack controlling additive for concrete and mortar. MasterFiber 012 is supplied agglomerated in flakes bound by a water soluble adhesive.

MasterTop 1230

MasterFlow 936 AN

MasterFlow 936 AN is a two component (3:1) pure epoxy resin based high performance anchoring grout for use in cracked and uncracked concrete under normal as well as seismic conditions (seismic category C1 and C2). Designed for post-installed rebar connection applications, MasterFlow 936 AN offers a very high load-bearing capacity. The system can be installed in percussive and diamond drilled dry, wet and flooded holes.

MasterTop P 1240/50

MasterTop P 1240/50 primer is a two- component solvent free primer based upon epoxy resins. It is used to promote the adhesion of new epoxy screeds to existing concrete substrates.

MasterTop 1740

MasterTop 1740 is a multi component floor screed system based on water dispersible epoxy resins, designed to provide continuous protection for concrete floors. Applied by trowel in thicknesses of 5mm and above, MasterTop 1740 is also suitable for use as a coving or repair medium, where vapour permeability is required.

MasterTop 1110

MasterTop 1110 is a pigmented two component, water dispersible, epoxy resin coating, designed to provide a hygienic seal to protect concrete, timber and asphalt floors as well as walls and ceilings.

MasterSeal 912

MasterSeal 912 is a one component, moisture curing pre-polymer which is reswellable when in contact with water, suitable for the permanent sealing of construction joints in concrete structures.

MasterSeal P 101

A liquid primer used in the preparation of joint surfaces prior to the use of MasterSeal range of sealants. MasterSeal P 101 is used when preparing porous surfaces such as concrete, brickwork, stonework, asbestos and timber and non-porous surfaces such as stainless steel and ceramics.

MasterKure 107

MasterKure 107 incorporates a white pigment which at recommended coverage rates gives a daylight reflectance value of 60-80%. This permits a high curing efficiency to be maintained even in conditions of intense ambient light. MasterProtect 180

MasterProtect 180 is a protective high build epoxy resin coating specifically developed to protect concrete. Supplied as a two-component system comprising pigmented base and a hardener, it requires only on site mixing to produce an easily applied decorative and chemically resistant finish. MasterProtect 180 can be safely used in areas where contact with foodstuffs is envisaged or for coating potable water storage tanks. It is solvent free and can be used with safety in small rooms or tanks without the need to provide special ventilation. MasterProtect 180 coatings will not support the growth of bacteria.

MasterBrace ADH 2200

MasterBrace ADH 2200 is a non slumping epoxy bedding compound and adhesive. It is a two pack, fine aggregate filled, fast curing material, ideal for a variety of bedding, gap filling and concrete repair applications. MasterBrace ADH 2200 is a stiff but easily workable compound that can be applied by either trowel, spatula or knife. It cures to give high mechanical properties typical of epoxy compounds. It is resistant to oils, greases, petroleum, salts, many acids and alkalis and most commonly met corrosive media. It does not shrink on curing, and is designed to be used when cured from below freezing point to 60°C. Its impact resistance, and mechanical strength is greater than that of concrete. MasterTile ECO

MasterTile ECO is an economic cementitious powder formulated as a general purpose adhesive for a wide range of applications.

MasterEmaco S 488

MasterEmaco S 488 is a cementitious pre- bagged ready-to-use structural repair mortar in powder form. When mixed with the correct amount of water, it produces a thixotropic, high strength repair mortar, reinforced with acrylic fibres. It possesses excellent bond characteristics to steel reinforcement and to concrete. MasterEmaco S 488 mortar is shrinkage compensated. It has low permeability and is extremely durable. MasterEmaco S 488 contains no metallic aggregate and is chloride free. MasterEmaco S 488 is formulated for sprayed or trowelled applications, in thicknesses up to 50mm in one layer by hand application.

MasterTop 512

A ready to use non-metallic and non-oxidising synthetic mineral aggregate and cementitious product which is applied as a topping onto existing or new concrete slabs as a hard and durable wearing course. At 10-12mm the MasterTop 512 will afford permanent protection to the floor surface against various industrial chemicals, oils, greases and detergents.

MasterFinish RL 225

A ready to use water based, safe, effective release agent which is friendly to the environment. MasterFinish RL 225 is applied to mould and shutter faces prior to casting concrete in order to achieve a clean release. MasterInject 1315

A two-component system based on low-viscosity epoxy resins. Ideal for sealing static cracks from widths greater than 100 microns but no more than 9mm. It is highly penetrative and cures to form a permanent and rigid seal against the ingress of corrosive fluids and gases and is capable of restoring structural integrity to concrete elements.

MasterSeal 609

MasterSeal 609 is suitable for the treatment of concrete, asphalt, metal, roofing felt and other similar roofing surfaces whether flat, sloping or vertical. Where added protection is required on roofs, MasterSeal 609 may be used in conjunction with a reinforcing fabric.

MasterProtect 1855

MasterProtect 1855 is a single component, water based, protective coating formulated from high performance ester/acrylic polymers, able to be applied even upon green concrete at 24 hours after placing. When cured, MasterProtect 1855 provides excellent abrasion and chemical, including acid, resistance.

MasterSeal M 860

MasterSeal M 860 is a two-component, hand applied, self-levelling, elastomeric polyurethane / polyurea hybrid membrane.

MasterBrace ADH 1414

MasterBrace ADH 1414 is a permanent epoxy adhesive for internal or external bonding of renderings, granolithic toppings, and concrete to concrete. It tolerates a degree of moisture before and during curing and is insoluble when cured. The ultimate bond strength is greater than the tensile strength of concrete. MasterBrace ADH 1414 does not shrink and provides an even and stress-free bond.

MasterSeal 588

MasterSeal 588 powder is a blend of Portland cements, selected silica sands and modifying agents. When mixed to a slurry consistency with MasterSeal 588 liquid, an acrylic polymer emulsion, it can be easily applied by brush or roller. It cures to give an elastomeric flexible membrane. MasterSeal 588 must be reinforced with mesh across all construction joints and cracks. The reinforcing mesh may be either 100% virgin polypropylene or an alkali resistant glass-fibre mesh depending on which particular enhanced tensile properties are required, please consult your local BASF Technical Service Representative for further advice on the correct selection of mesh.

MasterProtect 185

MasterProtect 185 is a protective high build epoxy resin coating specifically developed to protect concrete. Supplied as a two-component system comprising pigmented base and a hardener in 1:1 by volume to produce an easily sprayable and chemical resistant finish. It is solvent free and can be used with safety in small rooms or tanks without the need to provide special ventilation. MasterProtect 185 coatings will not support the growth of bacteria.

MasterSeal 590

MasterSeal 590 is a blend of hydraulic cements, well graded sands and additives supplied in dry powder form. It requires only the addition of clean water to produce a ready-to-use, ultra- rapid setting, plugging mortar.

MasterCast 141

MasterCast 141 is a white liquid (SBR) styrene- butadiene co-polymer latex, specifically designed for use with Portland cement mixes. The latex consists of microscopic particles of synthetic rubber dispersed in an aqueous solution. It is used as an admixture in mortar and concretes to improve compressive and flexural strengths, improve bond increase resistance to water penetration, improve abrasion resistance and durability. It is used with Portland cement as a reliable water-resistant bonding agent.

MasterSeal 950

MasterSeal 950 is a compartmentalisation waterstop extruded from high grade PVC compound, compatible with the MasterSeal PVC geo-membranes.

MasterEmaco 8100 AP

MasterEmaco 8100 AP is a single component, solvent borne zinc rich epoxy primer, providing active galvanic protection to steel. It is a thick grey liquid of paint-like consistency, recommended for use where chloride induced attack on steel and concrete is involved.

MasterTop 1120

MasterTop 1120 is a two-component, solvented, epoxy resin coating specifically designed to provide continuous protection for substrates including concrete and mortar. It may be applied by brush, roller or airless spray.

Ucrete FL

Ucrete FL is a solvent free underlayment screed applied by trowel or screed bar at a thickness of 12 to 100 mm. Ucrete FL is not a finished floor and must be overlaid with the appropriate Ucrete floor finish

MasterEmaco S 442

MasterEmaco S 442 is a combination of Portland cement, well graded sands, specially selected fibres and additives formulated to reduce the possibility of shrinkage cracks, and to improve physical and application properties. When mixed with water MasterEmaco S 442 produces a thixotropic repair mortar, suited to hand and #spray application.

MasterEmaco P 5000AP

MasterEmaco P 5000AP active primer, not only reinstates a high pH environment it also contains active corrosion inhibiting additives for the protection of reinforcement steel. It can also be used as an adhesive bonding slurry for subsequent repair mortars. MasterEmaco P 5000AP is a ready-to-use material that contains portland cement, well graded fine fillers, re-dispersible powder and special additives. When mixed with water, it forms a slurry that can be applied by brush to the clean exposed reinforcement, or directly on the dampened, prepared concrete substrate when used as a bonding coat.

MasterSeal P 700

MasterSeal P 700 is a blend of high penetration grade bitumen with less boiling range hydrocarbon solvents. It is generally used as all- purpose bituminous primer on steel and concrete, prior to the application of waterproofing membranes.

MasterKure 101

MasterSeal SL 189

MasterSeal SL 189 is a high performance one component, moisture curing, silicone construction sealant. In properly designed and constructed joints the product has been formulated to offer ultra-low modulus, fuel and UV resistant, elastomeric seal. Asphaltic paving materials have low tensile strengths. It is important to use an ultra-low modulus material when sealing these substrates to ensure minimal strain is placed on the asphaltic joint face.

MasterTop 2200

MasterTop 2200 is an epoxy filler compound. It is a two component, fine aggregate filled, fast curing material, ideal for minor horizontal concrete repair applications. MasterBrace ADH 4000 is the adhesive for the MasterBrace LAM system. The MasterBrace LAM system is based on ready to use carbon fibre laminate (pultruded plate) that provides high tensile strength combined with light- weight and is used for flexural reinforcement of concrete and other building materials.
